We are delighted to announce that on Monday 30th July 2018 we will be opening a brand new Tawny owl baby nursery at our Scarning Little Owls.This lovely new facility will offer a home from home environment for our youngest children from 6 weeks to 2 years old.
At Little owls Scarning we aim to give your family a calm and reassuring introduction to life beyond maternity leave and our brand new Tawny owl nursery is the perfect start for your little one to experience the same high quality care and learning that you give to your children at home.
Our dedicated, qualified and experienced team of practitioners will provide sensitive care to our children and your childs dedicated key person will play an important role between you and your baby.
Our Tawny owl nursery will be divided into a variety of exciting areas for our babies to access.This will include a messy area and imaginative area to recreate roles and experiences for our children to engage in.
We will offer a sleeping area with wooden cots and purpose built toilets to aid potty training.
Finally our children will have access to physical play with wooden indoor toddle boxes and ballet bars as well as free flow access to both a safety surface play area and a lovely green spaced garden with a bespoke mud kitchen.
Our baby nursery is due to open on Monday 30th July with a planned open week for the week commencing 14th May 2018.

Our builders are doing a great job on building our brand new 3-4 year old Barn owl classroom.Work is progressing at a rapid pace and the children are enjoying watching the diggers and builders on a daily basis.
New nursery in Scarning
We are delighted to advise you that we will be opening our new brand new Little Owls Scarning nursery at Railway Farm,Fen Road, Scarning,NR19 2lJ. Although the postcode comes under Scarning the nursery is actually situated at the end of Stone road in Toftwood and is Toftwood side of the A47.
Our brand new nursery will be opening at 7.30am on Monday 4th September with an Open day planned between 3pm and 7pm on Wednesday 9th August.This is by invitation only so if you are interested in attending the open day please contact us to request an invite and a copy of our prospectus.
Our new nursery will care for children aged between 2-4 years and will be open from 7.30am-6.00pm 51 weeks per year.
Our 2-3 years old children will have their own purpose built premises which will be called Snowy Owls
Our 3-4 year old children will also have their own purpose built premises which will be called Barn Owls.
Our Little Owls Scarning will mirror image the same high quality Outstanding provision that our Toftwood nursery offers.The nursery is divided into two individual nurseries with both our Snowy owl and Barn owl children having their own individual nurseries. Each nursery will be equipped with outstanding resources including community playthings indoor wooden climbing frame,Interactive ICT equipment as well as construction,problem solving equipment,small world and wooden role play equipment.
Our outdoor area offers both a wet pour safety surface and a lovely grassed forest school area.
The nursery is situated in a lovely green spaced rural area although only located 2 minutes from the A47 and 3 minutes distance from our Little owls Toftwood.
We offer a wide variety of flexible sessions.

Hoots Junior After School Club is “OUTSTANDING” – We’ve achieved the treble!!!!!
We are delighted to announce that following an inspection by Ofsted on 2nd February, our Hoots Junior After School Club has been rated as OUTSTANDING. Our thanks go to Holly, Charlotte and our wonderful team of play workers for their hard work and dedication in securing this outstanding judgements.
This also mean that we have now achieved the treble!!!!!!
Little Owls was judged as outstanding by Ofsted in March 2014
Hoots Infant After School Club was judged as outstanding in 2009 and again in March 2016
and finally Hoots Junior After School Club was judged as outstanding in February 2017.

Mini Me Yoga
We are delighted to announce that we have introduced Mini Me Yoga at Little Owls Day Nursery. The children have experienced Mini Me Yoga in a relaxed environment with spa music and scented atomisers.

We were visited by Ofsted on Friday 21st March who conducted a formal inspection of the nursery incorporating the care and education we offer to the children. We are absolutely delighted to announce that overall we received a judgement of “OUTSTANDING” from the Ofsted Inspector.
