A calm and welcoming start to the day at Breakfast Club
Breakfast helps children feel settled, energised, and ready to learn
Every Friday we tidy everything away
On Monday mornings the Hoots hall floor gets a big clean, before we set it all up again for the week ahead
Our spaces are carefully planned to support wellbeing and development
An open area at the back of the hall for children with energy to burn off, supporting physical movement and self-regulation
A craft table to encourage creativity and fine motor skills
Construction and car play to build problem-solving and teamwork
A breakfast table where children eat together and develop social skills
A calm corner for relaxation and emotional regulation
A screen set up for drawing to support early mark making and confidence
And today’s builders tray — a Barbie princess castle construction, encouraging imagination and collaborative play
A positive, well-planned start helps children feel happy, confident, and ready for the day ahead
