Another fun filled week
Today in tawny owls Toftwood we’ve enjoyed a spot of SPLAT painting! We used shaving foam and paint to create a fun activity using spoons to splat the paint around their plates! The children enjoyed making lots of mess and exploring the different textures with their hands and fingers! What a wonderful and colourful activity.
This morning our Snowy Owls Scarning have had the best time enjoying the lovely sunshine and their new chalk board in the nature garden!
They enjoyed using their mark making tools alongside their broad imaginations to come up with some wonderful masterpieces!
Well done Snowy Owls!
“That’s Mummy!” “Pink!” “Eyes and nose!” “It’s fun!”
Today in Tawny Owls Scarning the babies had an immersive experience with some special visitors. The babies were enchanted by the array of sea creatures from shark to the octopus.
Some of the babies liked to incorporate some of their much loved rhymes to their play. We heard a chorus of Tiny turtle and a rendition of Baby shark to name just a few.
There were smiles all round as the babies examined the assortment of soft and bumpy materials displayed in the tray.
Similarly, Tawny Owls got rather creative using the chalks to make some lovely marks across the wave cardboard. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children to enhance their fine motor skills.
