Little Owls Day Nursery | Baby Nursery in Norfolk

We hope that all of our little people and their families enjoyed a lovely bank holiday weekend despite the rainy weather. We look forward to spending another special week with our children in our Little Owls Nurseries.

Last week in Tawny Owls they have been exploring the topic ‘Physical Activity’. The children have particularly enjoyed engaging in some yoga and practising some of the yoga positions!

This morning at Toftwood, our Barn Owls children have had a great time exploring the nature garden in the sunshine. We looked at the growing tadpoles, helped to feed the birds, and made a den using open-ended resources. Well done Barn Owls!

Last week in Barn Owls Scarning, the children enjoyed spending lots of time in the grass garden where they have climbed trees, bug hunted and enjoyed den building! The Barn Owls also made some lovely treats in the mud kitchen including hot chocolate and chocolate cake!

Our Tawny owl ? children have enjoyed lots of outdoor play, and helped to water the plants ??? Well done Tawny Owls!

Last week Snowy Owls Scarning enjoyed their Space topic through a variety of activities. Today the children made moons out of tinfoil and created wonderful mark making using paint and glitter combined with their motor skills to grip the moons! Great fun had by all.

In our snowy Owls ? nursery, the children have been talking about all things ‘holidays’ . We made some play dough using sand and enjoyed making different shapes with the textured dough, promoting conversations of our own experiences of sand. ??☀️? well done snowy owls!
