Celebrating Mother’s Day

Today at our Little Owls settings we held our first parent cafe in over two years- it was so lovely to provide this opportunity again and have parents back into the setting to experience some special themed activities with their child and practitioners.

At our Scarning setting the children and parents enjoyed biscuit/cake decorating, bead bracelet making, flower fork paintings and a coloured rice tray with fresh flowers and tea set alongside free reign of our continuous provision.
We ended the session with a yummy sweet treat made by our chef Athena and a story read by Ella and Mica.

Thank you to all the mummies that joined us today for our Mothers Day story cafe, we hope you enjoyed it! We look forward to seeing more mummies tomorrow on our second parent cafe.

It was was the first of our two day Mother’s Day story cafe event for our wonderful mummies. We celebrated by creating memorable artwork, play dough station, tea party water tray, planting seeds and dinosaur builders tray. At our Toftwood nursery, we held our story cafe for Mother’s Day . It was so lovely to invite our families back our lovely nursery. A wonderful time was had by all.

We enjoyed sensory playdough, making bracelets, flower petals in the water tray and spring themed builders trays.

We also enjoyed some yummy cakes made by our chef, Annie and a lovely story read by our amazing nursery nurses.

Another lovely parent cafe today. Thank you to all the mummies who joined us today. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves!

A few of the special activities enjoyed today were flower petals and water tea set tuff tray, bead bracelet making, cake decorating, flower pot painting/bulb planting and daffodil playdough.

We cannot wait to get planning our next parent cafe.
