What a fabulous morning we have had for the Grandparents Stay and Play

What a fabulous morning we have had at Scarning Little Owls for the Grandparents Stay and Play! The families enjoyed a variety of craft activities including planting seeds and flowers, creating self portraits and decorating cupcakes and biscuits too! The children and their grandparents then enjoyed a warm hot cross bun and a glass of squash to finish their busy morning!

We also had our Grandparents craft cafe at Toftwood. It was wonderful to see so many nannies and grandads come along and join their grandchildren in all the fun activities. We had a gardening theme in Tawny Owls, exploring real vegetables and making collages. We enjoyed a lovely story in Snowy Owls, and made some lovely bunny pictures and a beautiful flower to take home. In Barn Owls there were birthday cakes being made with play dough, flowers collages and chocolate nests being made.

The children loved having their grandparents come and play today. We would like to thank all our wonderful grandparents for coming and hope to see you again soon.
