Then they got lots of different toppings such as smarties, biscuits and grapes and put this on the top of the melted chocolate, a practitioner then put this away to harden for the children to then take some home.

Pumpkin patch shop

Today in Barn owls Scarning we have created a pumpkin shop following from our topic of Halloween
We added a wooden till to the shop for the barn owls children to explore and talk about numbers together as well as all different sized pumpkins for the children to “buy” to encourage them to talk about big and small as well as engaging in play based around home from home experiences
Barn Owls really enjoyed taking it in turns to work behind the till and shop for the pumpkins Engaging in really lovely group play.
“I’ll have this big pumpkin” FTM
“That’s £14” SMc
“That’s 20 thousand pounds” FC
“I’ll have this little one, they are less money” DS
The barn owls children remained engaged in this shop activity for a long period of time throughout the day!
Well done Barn Owls
