Pre school supervisor
We are currently offering a fabulous opportunity for a successful candidate to work on a full-time basis within one of our 3-4 year old pre school nurseries situated at our Ofsted Outstanding Toftwood Nursery.
Within our Toftwood Nursery we offer two 3-4 year old preschool rooms (barn owls yellow and barn owls red) both accommodating 24 children in each room.
Your role will be to oversee the smooth day to day running of your preschool room with the additional daily support of your own senior nursery nurse as well as an experienced team of qualified and experienced nursery nurses. You will require to possess a sound and thorough knowledge of the eyfs, Ofsted requirements as well as possessing a thorough knowledge of continuous provision,planning, observation and assessment cycle and monitoring the quality of these within our nursery pre school rooms. Knowledge of the curiosity approach would be beneficial but not essential but a love of the outdoors environment is essential. As a crucial member of the team you will hold key person duties so an excellent communicator with both our parents and children are an essential part of your supervisory role.
The successful candidate will already have gained leadership experience and will ideally be currently working as a room leader or supervisor within an early years setting.
A recognised and relevant early years qualification is essential for this position with a minimum of a level 3 required.
Further training and support will be provided for both positions in addition to a successful career progression and job security for the right candidate.
All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.

Salary: Hourly rate £9.35 – £20,663.00 per annum
Part time Playworker
Due to a high increase in children joining both of our After school clubs we are currently looking to recruit a new playworker to work within our Hoots infant club.
We are looking to recruit an exceptional individual who is dedicated, enthusiastic and have an ambitious vision for our children’s expectations and achievements.
A recognised level 2 Early Years qualification is desirable (level 3 training can be offered) and experience with school age children is essential. The candidate must be a car driver with a clean driving licence as school collections will be part of the role.This is an exciting opportunity to work within an Ofsted Outstanding After School Club which offers fabulous resources and daily planned experiences for our school age children with extra benefits of discounted childcare, induction training and access to our loyalty scheme. You will have key worker responsibilities so an excellent communicator with our parents, staff and children is also an essential requirement of this position.
The hours of work will be 3.00-5.30pm Monday to Friday (with additional hours also offered of 7.30am-9.00am if required). This post is term time only with additional hours available in the school holidays and also during the day at our Little Owls nurseries can be offered if required.
Rate of pay – £8.00 – £8.50 per hour depending on age and experience.
