Little Owls Enjoying the hot weather

Our Barn Owls Toftwood have been exploring ice in water this week. We have been keeping cool whilst learning about what happens to the ice when it gets warm. We have been predicting what will happen to the ice when we put it in the water or out in the sunshine. Well done Barn Owls!

This week Snowy Owls Toftwood have been keeping cool by having lots of water play activities out! We have been using the paddling pools, water trays and we have been having fun water fights under the shelter outside.

This week Tawny Owls have been making BIG bubbles in the water tray! The children loved watching the bubble pop and they used their gross motor skills to make their own bubbles

This week at Little Owls Scarning we have been enjoying plenty of water play to help keep cool during the current heatwave! 😎 Snowy’s enjoyed a water fight yesterday in our soft surface playground! Our lovely apprentice Shannon got caught by most of our Snowy’s with a lot of laughter, happiness and excitement had by all.

At Scarning our Tawny Owls have been enjoying the sunshine!! We have been following the children’s interests of Summer holidays and building our own sandcastles! Developing our gross motor skills and enjoying what we have set out to do! Sand is a great part of our continuous provision.
