LITTLE OWLS GREAT BRITISH BAKE OFF

Today our Little Owls have taken part in our very own ‘Little Owls Great British Bake Off!’
Each of our Little Owls nurseries chose a very British food to bake and got to work!
Our littlest owls in Tawny Owls made some very yummy mini Victoria sponges!
Our Snowy Owls made some delicious butterfly shortbreads with marbled Union Jack colours and sparkles too!
Our Barn Owls made some great Chocolate Rice Krispies cakes with Union Jack coloured sprinkles too!
Each of the children have helped to weigh the ingredients needed before pouring them into the cooking bowl and helping to mix it all up, once completed the children decorated their yummy creations ready for them to be judged by Ella!
I can confirm that the winner of our first ‘Little Owls Great British Bake Off’ is… SNOWY OWLS!
Ella loved how colourful and sparkly Snowy Owls shortbread butterflies were and said they were very yummy!
Keep your eyes peeled for our party day tomorrow which will be posted on here! We are dressing in our best party outfits and have some super fun activities and games planned such as pass the parcel!

All the children have been excitedly involved in baking some delicious treats. We have made Confetti cupcakes, vegan jubilee chocolate cakes, a jubilee rainbow Victoria sponge and some jubilee sprinkle shortbread. The children were all so proud of their bakes, fit for a queen .

At lunch we enjoyed a spot of afternoon tea, and what afternoon tea would be complete without delicious scones with cream and jam . These definitely went down a treat.
