This week at Little Owls Scarning we have had a Spooktacular time celebrating all things Halloween! All nurseries have being doing lots on messy play activities enhancing their multi sensory experiences by using food within their play. In addition to this we didn’t let the rain get in our way of jumping in Muddy Puddles and feeding our horses!

In tiny tawny’s we have been doing some music and movement. The children have enjoyed singing songs and using the musical instruments to make different sounds.

Snowy Owls

Today in snowy owls we have had a very spooky themed day! We have been doing some Halloween craft, playing pin the smile on the pumpkin and exploring real pumpkins in our builders tray. Happy Halloween everyone

Barn Owls at Little Owls Nursey

At our Toftwood nursery, our Barn Owls yellow classroom held their ‘space story cafe ‘. Lots of our families came to join in with reading the ‘how to catch a star’ story, as well as lots of fun space and science craft activities, such as space playdough, fruit kebab rockets and exploding rockets. We hope the children and families had a lovely time! ????
