Living Things & Children in Need

Living Things

This week in Snowy Owls Scarning we are focusing on the topic of “Living things” so to start our week off we went to visit our local horses!

With the chilly weather among us Snowy Owls suggested feeding the horses some juicy apples to keep them nice and warm

All of the Snowy Owl children thoroughly enjoyed this activity, turn taking and waiting patiently amongst their friends to feed both of the horses in turn

Whilst feeding the horses all of the children had great confidence in approaching them with a familiar adult and consistently showed care and attention towards them
Well done Snowy Owls

“Eat apples” “ I like the white horse” “Eat it all up” “hold my hands flat”

Children in Need

Today at Little Owls Scarning has been a fun filled day themed around Children in Need. The children across all nurseries have enjoyed participating in activities and experiences such as pom pom painting, exploring oats with coloured pom poms, making pudsey ear headbands, face painting and mark making pudsey bears.

The children have all been very busy making and decorating cupcakes, biscuits for our cake sale which we held today to raise money for this worthy cause!
