Eckling Grange and Dereham Baptist church were visited this week

This morning, Barn Owls at Toftwood and Scarning have been to visit the residents at Eckling Grange. We did some colouring and made some beautiful wreaths with all of the residents and talked all about Christmas. We had a lovely sing along with everyone at the end and the children made the residents and staff a beautiful Christmas card. The children were very lucky and received a lovely gift from all at Eckling Grange. A lovely morning spent spreading Christmas joy 🎄

We also had the wonderful pleasure of visiting Dave at Dereham Baptist Church Hosting 1st Christmas Wreath Festival to hand deliver the Christmas wreaths we made for their festival. Dave kindly gave the children a tour of the church, up the windy stairs to the balcony and where the children sing, dance and make things.
Dave then joined us for a lovely Christmas nativity story and some Christmas singing.
We all had a fabulous time. If you would like to see the wreaths we made they will be displayed with many others in the church from the 19 – 21st December.

Toftwood Barn Owls have been busy having a go at wrapping their own presents to go under their Christmas tree. They all talked about what lovely things they would like Santa to bring them for Christmas. Lots of excited children as we get closer to the big day.

This morning our Tawny Owl children enjoyed some yoga and mindfulness together. They each chose a yoga pose card and then was shown and helped by a practitioner how to do the move☺️ they performed moves such as the cat pose, the boat pose, the quiet time pose and the downward dog! All of the children had lots of fun, well done Tawny Owls!
