Our barn owls at Scarning have demonstrated great mathematical skills today as they explored a shape/mosaic game where they spent time identifying shapes, recognising patterns and colour sequences as they recreated the picture on the cards with the shape pieces. Some of the children enjoyed working together in small groups to complete these patterns and were very proud of their end results! The children demonstrated a high level of concentration throughout this activity.
