What fun our Little Owls have.

Snowy Owls Toftwood have been busy exploring the new mindfulness activities today. They have been using the calm jars, playing the emotion match game and doing some mindfulness colouring. Well done snowy Owls.

Barn Owls 🦉 have had fun making faces out of play dough using loose parts for their eyes, noses and mouths. 😊 This is following on from their topic All About Me, where they have been talking about themselves and their families.

Our Toftwood Tawny Owls have had an amazing time body painting. They used different parts of their body to make lots of different marks and patterns. This will be used to display in the room….a masterpiece.

Scarning Little Owls are delighted welcome the mobile library at the nursery to enable our children to have the opportunity to choose their own books and enjoy this lovely new experience.Our plans are to organize this on a monthly basis for our children. As a rural setting this is a lovely opportunity for our children to enjoy literacy and choose books and story sacks for the whole nursery to enjoy.

Snowy Owls Scarning are enjoying learning all about Transport! Today we have been making Paper Mache hot air balloons, giving the children a selection of creative resources to make their own designs. Happy creative morning.

Snowy Owls Scarning children have been enjoying the topic ‘Food Week’. The children have enjoyed creating their own fruit salads where they carefully used a knife to chop up the fruit and place it in their bowl. The children also discussed different textures and colours too!
