Our Nature Garden Pond Has Visitors!

We have some exciting visitors in our nature garden pond this week at Toftwood. Our Barn Owl children have discovered some frogspawn ? and are very intrigued as to what will happen next. This has sparked lots of conversations of the life cycle of a frog. The children have been taking part in lots of activities to aid their understanding of this…We can’t wait to see what happens next…. ???

…We have had a very exciting day today! Our Barn Owls children discovered that some of our Tadpoles have hatched! We have enjoyed talking about what might happen next to the tadpoles and when the others may hatch…?

They are keeping an eye on the mini pond in our garden. They have been observing the tadpoles closely the past few weeks and we have been anticipating what might happen next. The children think they may start to grow some legs soon…watch this space! ?
