The sun is shining and our barn owls have been busy exploring our outdoor environment; from bike races, to loose part building, to making hot chocolate using bark and water, to having picnics with our friends and to exploring in the water area we have all had a fun filled day in the sunshine!!
This week our Snowy Owls Scarning have been super helpful each taking a turn to water our Sunflowers each day as it’s been much warmer and sunnier this week!
Snowy Owls have demonstrated excellent physical skills using a small jug of water to pour and water the plants, all whilst learning all about the world and how things grow and what they need to grow!

This morning some of our Toddlers have been for a trip to the local park to enjoy the sunshine. The children enjoyed sitting with their friends in the pushchairs and listening to the different sounds in the environment. On the way to the park we saw lots of vehicles, we heard an aeroplane and we saw a dog too! Some of the children said “Car” and “Woof Woof”
Whilst at the park the children have enjoyed exploring all of the equipment at the park, they really liked the climbing frame and slide. We had a picnic snack and then we headed back to Nursery.
On the way back from our walk we collected some leaves, flowers and twigs to create nature collages!
They had lots of fun
