Pottery, talent show, mini beasts, dinosaurs…
We hope you all enjoy flicking through these pictures of our lovely mini beast experience today. Our hoots children got to hold and feel 5 different mini beasts from African snails to bearded dragons! We learnt some interesting facts about how they survive in the wild.
This afternoon hoots took a trip to the pond! We enjoyed looking in the pond with the nets and seeing what we could find! Some of us found tadpoles and pond bugs!
The last two days hoots have been busy busy busy creating our tie dye shirts! We are all so pleased with how they have turned out, we think they look awesome. Some children didn’t like tie dye, not a problem as they were happy enough to add their favourite characters on! Big well done to Maisie and Laura who have been nonstop making sure everyone has a top to take home!
We hope you all enjoy them they are a lovely bright addition to your wardrobes!
This week at holiday club is our prehistoric week. Today we have been making cave drawings using tiny sticks and scratching the paint onto the pictures! We drew our families as cave people and our pets too!
Tomorrow we will be adding to our cave drawings as well as fossil hunting in the sand and making playdough dinosaurs!
We loved painting our pottery! We got to choose between different pottery and painted them with our favourite colours. We paid a lot of attention to detail and can’t wait to see what they look like once all finished!
Today hoots made their own talent show. The children took the lead and were in charge of their own music and dances. We have fortnight dancing, ninja demonstrations and dance routines.
At the end we all clapped for the winner and had three winners!
