Barn Owls Toftwood at Little Owls Nursey

Barn Owls have been doing a superhero obstacle course in the garden. The children moved around in superhero ways such as jumping, crawling and balancing. Well done Barn Owls, you are all super!

It was Johnny’s birthday, so we celebrated by singing happy birthday with a special birthday cake. We hope you had a lovely day Johnny!

Scarning Barn Owls at Little Owls Nursery

The Scarning Barn Owls have loved this weeks theme of Superheros. So far this week they have made superhero masks, capes and been on a superhero hunt in the natural garden!

Snowy Owls Scarning at little Owls Day Nursery

This week in Snowy Owls Scarning, the topic is Transport. The children have loved interacting with the digger inspired builders tray. The Snowy Owls enjoyed exploring the different textures, sounds and smells! The Scarning Snowy Owls have loved exploring their new construction area within the room. This area has promoted mathematics, literacy, imagination and much more; helping your little ones to grow and develop through play. We have also created a construction area in our main garden, which the children have already loved exploring!!

Barn Owls at Little Owls Nursery

Barn Owls Scarning have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the natural garden throughout the week. The children have enjoyed the mud kitchen where they made mud pies and mud cakes; been on a bug hunt; climbed trees and made dens!

This week in Snowy Owls Scarning, our topic has been All About Me. Today, the children have been making banners to celebrate what is special about them. The banners include the children’s footprints, hand prints and a description of their hair and eye colour. We hope you enjoy your keepsakes as much as we have enjoyed creating them!

Tawny Owls at Little Owls day Nursery

This week, our Tawny Owl Toftwood children have had lots of fun making mud pies and cakes in our mud kitchen. The children added a variety of scents and textures to their creations through herbs and plants, which also aids their sensory development! Well done Tawny Owls, it looks like you had great fun

This week our topic in Tawny Owls Scarning has been dinosaurs! The children have been engaging in lots of fun, dinosaur activities, including dinosaur footprints, going on a dinosaur hunt in the garden and baking dinosaur biscuits. We hope your little ones have had a ‘roawsome’ week
