Growing sunflowers
Today our Snowy Owls Scarning nursery have been planting sunflower seeds into our new planters to display outside the front of the nursery. The children have loved planting over the last few weeks- transporting the soil, sowing the seeds, watering them and talking about different aspects of the growing cycle.
We have added some key words and pictures around the planters and also a height chart so we can watch how tall it grows!
Make sure you all have a look and keep watch as they start to grow! Which sunflower will grow the tallest?
