Celebrating Halloween

Today at Little Owls we have had the best day celebrating Halloween We have all participated in some super fun activities including: mummy biscuit making ; break the pumpkin; chocolate apples; rice krispy cakes; spooky Halloween slime and we even had a Halloween party at the end of the day Most of the children enjoyed dressing up and showing their outfits to their peers whilst dancing around to Halloween songs Little Owls favourite song was definitely ‘Monster Mash’ At the end of the day Little Owls got the chance to have a ‘Halloween themed tea’ which they all loved!

The children have enjoyed talking to their familiar adults all about Halloween and what they are going to do with their families after nursery-

“I have to say thank you when they give me sweets”
“I need to say Trick or Treat!”
“Pumpkins smell yucky”
“I like chocolate,it’s yummy”
“Look at me”
“It’s on my nose”
“Can I make one now please?”

We hope you have a lovely evening with your families
