Over the past 30 years we have been providing outstanding and high-class childcare to the local community so we are safe in the knowledge that Little Owls can offer the very best for your child and your family.
At our little Owl’s nurseries, we are proud to employ a long standing and extremely dedicated team of professional and qualified nursery practitioners to provide the best care and education for your children.
We also offer an environment that nurtures and stimulates your child whilst also offering that extremely very important home from home feel too. We try to ensure that our parents are included and involved in the nursery as much as possible inviting you to regular story cafes, drop in sessions, yoga cafes, open evenings, sports days and finally our nursery graduation ceremony. We also invest in offering our families “Tapestry” your child’s own unique online learning journal which ensures that you are visually included in aspects of your child’s day at nursery.
Our main ethos at Little Owls is to create a high quality, Outstanding professional service for our parents and children whilst always placing your child at the centre of everything that we do.

Both of our nurseries offer outside plays areas consisting of a high quality impact absorbent safety surface, which ensures the highest safety of the children at all times.
Our mud kitchen can be found at BOTH Toftwood & Scarning nurseries and is a totally bespoke resource designed for our youngest and oldest children.
We have three members of staff who are trained in the practise of Mini Yoga! Recent studies have found that the children’s yoga helps children to release stress and retain more information whilst increasing their confidence.
Our staff team all benefit from frequent online training via Noodle Now where we have the opportunity to refresh our knowledge on a variety of subjects related to early years and childcare. Read more…
