Following on from the rainy weather this morning we have been exploring a super messy ‘Rain’ themed sensory tray!
Toddlers have liked splatting the welly boots in the paint and shaving foam to create lots of makes and mess! They have also liked using the brushes to colour mix the different shades of blue together. Some of the younger toddlers explored the different textures using their fingers

Lovely playing Tawny Owls
Currently in Snowy Owls the children have been showing a very big interest in unicorns, so today we have had a unicorn filled day! We started off our day by reading a unicorn story where snowy owls worked together to help cheer up the unicorn!
After our story the child had the opportunity to decorate there very own unicorn mask! Snowy Owls took it in turns to select which unicorn mask they would like to decorate. Snowy owls used their dominate hands to hold the paint brush and select the paint they would like. Once finished, a practitioner cut out the mask and placed string around it for the children to wear.
